Our organization\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>was cofounded by women.<\/li>\n<li>is runned by an all-women <a title=\"Team\" href=\"https:\/\/mumtl.org\/en\/about-us\/team\/\" target=\"_blank\">team<\/a> : general and artistic director, administration and communications director, project managers and art educator.<\/li>\n<li>is stewarded by a <a title=\"Board of directors\" href=\"https:\/\/mumtl.org\/en\/about-us\/board-of-directors\/\" target=\"_blank\">board <\/a>with a 50-50 gender split and a woman president.<\/li>\n<li>worked with six women muralists (below).<\/li>\n<li>offered contracts (muralist-assistants, cultural mediators, etc.) to more than 25 women.<\/li>\n<li>honored three women artists as part of its mural series<i> Les b\u00e2tisseurs culturels montr\u00e9alais<\/i>.<\/li>\n<li>produced a mural in honor of the King&#8217;s and several other murals evoking women.<\/li>\n<li>won the Feminine Entrepreneur Prize awarded by the 2008 Quebec Entrepreneur Contest and FORCES Prize of the 2007 Feminine Entrepreneur Challenge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That being said, women are unfortunately still unknown and very too few in the mural art scene.
