Felipe Arriagada-Nunez, also known as Chien Champion, is a Montreal-based illustrator recognized for his colorful and dynamic worlds.

He was born in 1997 in Montreal to parents of Chilean origin. He grew up between Mile End, Saint-Laurent, and Laval, in a vibrant artistic patchwork. As a child, his imagination was shaped by the vivid tones of French movie posters, the bold colors of 1980s Cuban cinematic iconography, and the small narrative scenes of retablos—those little wall sculptures depicting the façades of Chilean houses. With his warm palette and imperfect linework, Felipe does more than just draw. Through his illustrations teeming with life, he tells stories that celebrate human warmth, with a touch of nostalgia.
