About
This mural, created by children from the 2nd and 3rd cycles as well as the ASD support groups in Fall 2024, focuses on healthy lifestyle habits, with a special emphasis on communicating emotions.
Illustrator and artist Béatrice Bloomfield was invited to create the artwork following a collaborative brainstorming session with the children. She drew inspiration from their sketches to design the project, which features several elements related to anger management, pride, self-esteem, mutual support, and empathy. A rainbow also serves as a unifying thread throughout the mural.
This project was made possible thanks to the participation of principal Denis Boivin, artist Béatrice Bloomfield, and educators Fanny Labbé, Stéphanie Morin, and Julien Sicre.
