Because preserving what already exists matters!
When we say we are dedicated to caring for our artworks, “Rencontre au sommet”, created in 2014 by the artist Labrona, is the perfect example. This summer, the artist and our production team set up shop outside the Jarry metro station to breathe new life into the piece.
It was a wonderful opportunity to reaffirm the importance MU places on the care and longevity of its murals. True landmarks in Montreal’s urban landscape, they also, and, above all, hold a special place in the daily lives of many citizens.

A long-term commitment
Because our commitment does not stop once a mural is completed and inaugurated. It is a long-term vision that continues over time:

The fruit of a meticulous restoration process, the mural “Rencontre au sommet” by artist Labrona can now be experienced in a whole new light! So next time you walk past the Jarry metro station exit, take a moment to look up and admire it. It is definitely worth the detour!
