About
This mural is part of the Plan de développement urbain, économique et social (PDUES) initiated after the reconstruction of the Turcot interchange and in the aim of revitalizing Notre-Dame street.
The monumental scale of the mural and the technical expertise exhibited on behalf of the artist, make this MU-produced mural particularly awe-inspiring. The artist CASE chose to represent the paradoxical relationship that binds humans to nature by drawing attention to an open hand, a familiar gesture that draws viewers forward. He used a local as a model for the work, thus anchoring the mural into a Montreal-specific context.
CASE was assisted by Arnaud Grégoire.
