About
At SAS Outremont, a unique mural has come to life in the office of the extracurricular activities coordinator — a space often brought to life by card games among the students. Inspired by this playful atmosphere, the project took the form of a large wall-sized card game, where each card features an idea or drawing proposed by the students.
Created in collaboration with teenagers diagnosed with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorders (ID-ASD) as well as learning disabilities, the mural highlights their creativity, interests, and meaningful contribution to school life. Led in partnership with MU, the project gave students the opportunity to express themselves visually while transforming their gathering space into an even more vibrant and inclusive environment.
