Fannÿ Labbé is an artist and educator whose universe moves between the organic and the fantastical—a space where watercolor, wood, glass, drawing, and painting come together to tell sensitive, poetic stories. She draws from her nocturnal and waking dreams as an inexhaustible source of ideas and inspiration.

Fannÿ studied psychology at Université TÉLUQ and feminist studies at UQAM, complemented by specialized training in advertising illustration and art therapy. Her professional path has led her to teach art, French, and English to children aged 3 to 12, and to develop intergenerational art workshops. Since 2022, she has been working with MU as an art educator and muralist, where she plans and leads projects, creates mock-ups, supports artists, and trains assistants.

Her experience is enriched by travel and artist residencies, notably in Ecuador at the Chawpi Studio, as well as by international collaborations in children’s books and group exhibitions. Her project l’Éfleur perfectly reflects her approach: an exploration of movement, the body, and its gestures, where hands become a symbol of contact, sensation, and transformation.

Fannÿ combines deep inner reflection with a varied and joyfully experimental artistic practice, making each of her works a bridge between sensitivity, gentle melancholy, humor, and a sense of wonder for the world.
