Julie Legault-Béliveau (JULB) is a muralist and art educator who has been working at MU since 2017. With a master’s degree in art history from Université de Montréal, as well as a degree in pedagogy and andragogy, this visual artist is driven by collective work and wellness through art, always with a touch of humor. Her personal artistic practice is motivated by the conflict between culture and nature, where she attempts to integrate one with the other. Her work plays with the urban landscape, architecture and nature. Colorful gesture and music serve as background and leitmotif. Her works are consciously integrated into the pre-existing place, relying on the collaboration and participation of the community.
