About
Through six workshops, artist Christian Robert de Massy took into account suggestions from students at Collège Saint-Louis to design a mural to brighten up their stairwell. In collaboration with the artist, three groups of students had the opportunity to participate in the creation of a mural, exploring mural art techniques to leave their mark on their school. In this mural, everything is connected in a kind of large, inextricable magma, like an ecosystem. Humans are in the background to emphasize the fact that we depend on the rest of the living world. At the base of the image are the backs of turtles—a nod to the First Nations and to Turtle Island.
