Chuuut is the hum of a place, a large-scale, multicultural sound. Its playful typography translates a colourful soundscape, inviting all to take the time to smell, listen and observe their surroundings: the multisensorial playground of the Jardins Gamelin in the heart of urban Montreal. These graphic signs communicate the sites multiple worlds: urban, agriculture, music, food, multiculturalism, diversity of peoples and life stories. Through lettering and evocative words, the work is a simple invitation to become conscious of our surroundings.
