As part of its collection of murals entitled Montreal’s Great Artists, MU highlights the creative minds and forces who have made outstanding contributions to the local, national and international reach of Montreal’s cultural scene. In 2018, MU wishes to pay tribute to the great cinematographer Alanis Obomsawin. The mural will be created in the Peter-McGill district of Ville-Marie borough. It will celebrate the richness of Alanis Obomsawin’s work and her commitment to defending and valuing First Nations communities.
