Art in the health care environment: a vector of well-being for patients and caregivers.
This mural was created by artist Caitlin McDonagh in the waiting room of the operating room at Hôpital Notre-Dame de Montréal. The idea was to create a calming space that would contribute to the well-being of patients and caregivers.
Art beautifies, but above all, it transforms spaces for communities: the main mission and identity of the MU organization.
The work was created as part of the L’Oeil du Tigre competition organized by the Office of Innovation, for which the participation of the social committee of the Operating Room obtained the Coup de Coeur Award!
