About
The young students of Saint-Benoît Elementary School, from kindergarten to sixth grade, had the opportunity to participate in a collective mural project located in a large stairwell extending to the area of the lockers. The theme to explore, proposed by the art educator Julien Sicre, was about good habits of life. From there, the students chose to focus on being active and moving. The illustrator Jimmy Beaulieu used their drawings to create a vibrant and dynamic artwork full of activities.
The presence of blue in the stairwell serves as a reminder of Autism Awareness Month, aiming to raise awareness, while also having calming properties. Several students on the autism spectrum participated in the artistic workshops and the creation of the mural.
