Tribute to Jean Lapointe

In collaboration with MU, the Maison Jean Lapointe celebrated its 40th anniversary with the realization of a mural portrait of Jean Lapointe, singer-songwriter, Quebec actor and Canadian Senator. Inspired by the old painted advertisements that can sometimes still be seen on the city’s old brick walls, this mural on panel was created by the artist HSIX in the fall of 2022, in the heart of the inner courtyard of 111 Normand Street, a few weeks before Jean Lapointe’s passing.
