About
A new mural is brightening up the Ozias-Leduc Highschool in Mont-Saint-Hilaire!
The artwork, created by multidisciplinary artist Dan Buller, is inspired by a painting by Ozias Leduc, “The Young Student” (1894), as well as his famous landscapes, with their atmospheric perspective and undulations. The aim is to evoke the dynamic imagination of a young student, who reads and studies in a stimulating environment. The silhouettes of trees and mountains are rooted in the immediate landscape of Mont-Saint-Hilaire.
The artistic approach of this mural seeks to reflect Ozias Leduc’s message by valuing education and encouraging future generations to engage with philosophy and art.
