This calligraphy-themed mural was created with youth from the local HLM. The kids started by learning various writing techniques in silkscreened t-shirt and graffiti baseball hat workshops. The mural is on a wall facing the centre of the HLM, where the kids get together and play all year round. Inspired by the idea of a “time capsule”, the kids were invited to paint, tone on tone, the contents of their personal capsules inside of the word “Maintenant” (now) to represent their generation, their passions and their thoughts.
