About

For a sixth consecutive year, MU has collaborated with the Jeanne-Mance Housing Complex to complete a major embellishment project, a continuation in the mosaic mural series. In keeping with the theme of the four elements, the entrance façades of the four residential towers were utterly transformed. These mosaic murals are located at the four corners of the housing complex, at the heart of the Quartier Latin: 100 De Maisonneuve Blvd. East, 250 De Maisonneuve Blvd. East, 250 Ontario Street East and 100 Ontario Street East.

Produced by MU and designed by Humà Design, the four murals were built by Laurence Petit and Corinne Lachance. Camille Lefebvre, Éloïse Comtois-Mainville, Isabelle Claire Murphy, Samantha Petrella and Véronique Granger assisted Petit and Lachance throughout the project.

In addition, MU offered mosaic workshops to nearly 400 residents in a collaborative effort to improve and enrich the living environment at the housing complex by creating decorative elements in the public areas.
